Arun Patel
Arun is the founder of Arunasset. He started advising on personal finance and investments back in 2006. Arun’s love for personal finance, his experience in the field and his business ethics and values laid the foundations of Arunasset.
Prior to this, Arun was an entrepreneur for over 30 years. His company developed and manufactured precision technical drawing instruments, solely for Camlin. He also set up and managed a plant for automated precision plastic injection moulding and minute precision steel items manufacturing. In parallel he established distribution channels for Camlin Art Materials and Titan watches for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Region countries.
Arun is an enthusiastic wildlife videographer. He has traveled to most forests in India extensively to pursue this hobby. His footage has been bought and used by documentaries that have appeared on National Geographic, and also by several advertising agencies. He is passionate about cricket and horse racing.
Ankit Patel
Ankit, a co-founder and partner at Arunasset, joined the company 6 years back. He has been instrumental in the exponential growth of Arunasset. He is an investment advisor and financial planning professional, with industry experience of over a decade.
Before joining Arunasset, Ankit worked with International Money Matters for 4 years. He also had short stints with Cinemara Pvt Ltd and NewWave Computing Pvt Ltd prior to that. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Christ University, Bangalore.
Ankit spends a large part of his free time reading about and watching content related to economy, markets and personal finance. He is an avid football follower and has been a die-hard Real Madrid fan since the age of 14. He loves to eat out, so much so, that he claims he can create a great food and restaurant guide for Bangalore!
